| The Cobra 2 From
King Cobra Golf Clubs
The King Cobra golf clubs have always been
one of our favorite brand of clubs. They play nice, and would
be a welcome addition to any golf bag. The finish on these
golf clubs is very attractive. Chrome can be very distracting
when it reflects in bright sunlight, and it seldom keeps its
new looks. The matte finish which is on the King Cobra clubs
on the other hand, can retain their luster after many rounds
of golf.
The King Cobra golf driver is offset quite a
bit, and will generally compensate for severe slices. They do
tend to draw the ball a little if you don't have a slice. The
Cobra golf irons have a large sweet spot, and are very
forgiving. They give a nice trajectory, and are consistent.
The distance is a bit under average, though.
The King Cobra golf clubs have a feature
known as the "hump". This hump is apparently supposed to help
minimize excessive flex. Therefore the golf clubs will bring
around the face a bit better and give a slightly straighter
overall shot. There could be some improvement in the grips. We
replaced ours fairly quickly because they lacked tackiness. In
really hot weather, when you start sweating, they tend to get
a bit slippery.
We would definitely recommend these clubs to
anyone who shoots in the nineties. They should lower your scores
due to their higher accuracy. Just get new grips. That's our
only advice. Regardless of that though, the King Cobra Golf
Clubs are a very good brand to own.
