The I3 Iron - Another Winner From Ping Golf Clubs

The Ping golf clubs product line consists of an outstanding iron called the I3. If you're looking to lower your handicap and improve ball striking (who isn't?), then this club will deliver satisfaction. A hero among Ping golf irons, I3's have the Ping golf club feel, regardless of whether or not you make sweet spot contact. Ping Irons have always been famous for being forgiving when you don't make perfect contact. The I3 is no different.

After trying several different golf irons, we found the I3 to be an easy to hit golf club, with a low offset. We were able to work the ball from all directions, and the I3 cut through the rough with no difficulty. It was cleanly set up, and it also looks great.

It has an easy alignment, and the gap wedge is quite versatile around those difficult greens. It has the setup and look of a player's club. With ball flight not being overly high, this Ping golf iron was a joy to play with. Punches and knock downs were really easy. Chipping and pitching was a breeze. We achieved consistent results with these golf clubs and were never surprised by distance.

If what you are after is a traditional forged type club, look for another golf iron. The weighting around the perimeter does allow for slightly less accuracy than other irons, but you will feel less vibration along the shaft, and they don't feel too heavy. You are in control of your game. The club heads are a bit oversized and they don't feel bulky.

Ping golf clubs aren't the cheapest golf clubs around, although 3balls (listed below) has good pricing on Ping drivers. Don't let pricing stand in your way though. It's better to buy a quality golf driver or iron, than to be sorry, and have to replace it later.
